The Potmill is a home-baking brand that embodies warmth and craftsmanship, inspired by the idea of a mill baking treats in deep, rounded moulds. As someone who loves both branding and desserts, I’ve always been drawn to unique cafés and new flavours. My passion for blending unexpected ingredients led me to start baking, and what began as a hobby soon turned into something more—friends loved my creations, and their friends started reaching out. That’s when I decided to share my desserts beyond my inner circle.
With a Korean background and Canadian upbringing, I enjoy blend the two cultures into unique flavours. Using canelé molds and introducing uncommon flavours in Canada. Customers can enjoy unique flavours of Potmill.
I chose a warm brick-red colour as a main colour of the brands. It inspired by the caramelized desserts and the nostalgic feel of a traditional mill. Hand-drawn shaped logo was reflected home baking’s imperfect charm, it's a shape of a canelé top view, a mill wheel, and subtle Korean heritage patterns, creating a distinct and memorable identity.
